Got a call from 0300-204-3313, and it was total scam stuff. The person said they were from HMRC and started threatening me with an arrest warrant for unpaid taxes. It’s all a load of rubbish, definitely fraud. They sound really convincing though, so just watch out. I reported it to the police and Action Fraud, and I’d suggest letting your bank know too. Stay safe everyone!

Got a call from some robotic American bloke saying I owed HMRC and if I didn't press one or hang up, I'd be getting arrested. Sounds like a total scam, right?

I hit one and the bloke said something about HMRC, asked who he was speaking to. I told him he was the caller, so I dunno why he needed to know who I was. If they phoned me, you'd think they'd already have that info. Anyway, I just hung up.

Got a call from them at work today about hmre. Honestly, I doubt they'll ring me up again.

Got a call earlier today, same spiel as loads of other folks here. I pressed one by mistake and ended up talking to a bloke who claimed I owed them £325 from some earnings back in 2009-2011. He threatened to freeze all my stuff, blacklist me, and even said he’d have me arrested if I didn’t pay straight away. I just told him to go ahead and do his worst, then hung up. Still no sign of the police, thankfully. Just ignore these calls and hang up straight away.

Got a call from what sounded like HMRC, but it was one of those automated scam messages. It was all threats and nonsense. Honestly, anyone working for these scammy cretins must have no shame. Fingers crossed they get what's coming to them in a dreadful way. Best thing to do is just block them straight away.

I got a call too from some American automated voice, and I just cut it off right away. But a while back, my elderly neighbour, who’s 86 and mostly stays indoors, got really scared by a similar call. She even pressed some buttons, and then a woman on the line started saying she was about to be arrested for tax fraud. Poor lady was really shook up. Luckily, her carer popped by later that day, called the cops, and they came round to explain it was just a scam. Honestly, be careful and don’t believe stuff like that!

Got a call from a number really close to one HMRC uses, figured it was a scam so just ignored it and then blocked it. HMRC never contacts you like that anyway, they always send letters first. Deleted it straight away.

Got a robo call where someone said they were from HMRC claiming there was some tax fraud on my name. The recorded voice told me to press 1 so I could speak to a tax fraud officer. Definitely sounded dodgy to me.
