Just got a call from some 0300 number about half an hour ago saying I’m facing court over tax fraud and need to sort a lawyer quick. I said I’d ring my local tax office instead and they hung up straight away. Proper scam, honestly, the police need to get on these people. Imagine if they targeted an elderly person and tricked them - it's dreadful.

Had a dodgy call claiming to be from HMRC, threatening me with arrest if I didn’t pay up. Total scam, don’t fall for it!
