Got a call earlier from someone pretending to be HMRC, telling me I've got a fraud case and there’s a warrant out for me. They said if I don’t press 1, I'll be arrested. It’s awful how these scammers work, especially since a lot of elderly folks might panic and press the button. They’re so scared of money problems. Seriously, something really needs to be done to stop this rubbish.

I got a call from some guy claiming to be an HMRC officer, his voice thick with an Indian accent. He threatened me with jail time if I didn’t cough up alleged unpaid taxes right then and there. Such a load of rubbish! I bet a lot of folks might believe this nonsense. Honestly, it was quite scary for a moment. I’ve gone ahead and blocked the number - definitely a scam. Make sure to report them so nobody else gets caught out!

dont fall for those 0300 number calls theyre definitely scams, just hang up straight away and ignore em. HMRC never calls you on the phone, they always send letters first. Always double check with them if youre unsure. theres loads of scammers out there trying to trick people and steal cash. if its an automatic call just end it, if its a real person just tell em to bugger off.

Earlier today, I received a rather dubious automated call on my mobile, claiming to be from the Inland Revenue fraud division. The recording urged me to press various digits to connect with someone, creating an illusion of urgency. However, the whole thing felt quite sketchy and unprofessional. Instinctively, I sensed something was off, so I ended the call swiftly and have now blocked the number. Better safe than sorry!
