Got a call from someone claiming to be from HRMC saying I owe them money and if I don’t press 1, they’ll send a warrant to arrest me. Didn’t fall for it and avoided pressing any buttons. Just wondering if some furious tax official is gonna show up at my door anytime soon. Somehow, I doubt it.

Got a call from someone in India pretending to be from my bank, tried to get me to send money. I almost fell for it, but thankfully spotted the scam before making any payment. The woman on the other end got really angry though, and now I’m worried the police might get involved and arrest me or something. Proper dodgy situation!

Got a couple of calls yesterday and then another one today morning. Total scam attempts!

Had this so-called scammer on the line, who kept insisting if I looked up the number, it would show as a genuine HMRC contact. She was all about me having to show up at some “London criminal court” or something. I didn't hand over the £421.19 she demanded. Then, after the call dropped, she rang back but from another number. What a laugh that was.

Got a voicemail from someone claiming to be HMRC saying my taxes were being looked at for fraud. They warned me I'd be arrested soon if I didn’t hit 1 immediately. Honestly, so obviously a scam, couldn’t sound any less genuine if they tried!

Got a call from some woman with a strong Indian accent claiming she was from HMRC. Could barely make out what she was saying. I played along for a bit, she seemed quite happy about it. Told her I wasn't going to pay my tax bill, and she started threatening me with my passport being blacklisted, losing my job, and going to prison. I just told her the calls were being traced and that the police would soon be knocking on her door for fraud. Also told her she ought to be ashamed. She ended up hanging up! Haha.

I've been getting loads of calls recently from a number starting with 0300200, but the last four digits are always different. Sounds like one of those HMRC scams everyone's been talking about. Best not to pick up if it’s from them.

Got multiple calls from 0300 200 xxxx, and honestly, who scams pretending to be HMRC but talks like they’re from a bank? Definitely seems a bit daft to me.
