Got a call from an unknown number with a robotic voice claiming I was about to be arrested over customs fraud even though I’d just got a proper delivery from abroad. Was totally terrifying! I’ve blocked the number since then.

About half an hour ago, someone rang me from an 0300 number claiming I was being taken to court over tax fraud and that I needed to get a lawyer. I told them I'd ring my local tax office straight away, and they hung up on me immediately. These people are proper con artists and I honestly think the police need to step in. Imagine if they targeted an elderly person - they’d be scammed for sure.
