total scam! got an automated call claiming to be from HMRC warning of tax fraud on my account. it said to press 1 or they’d send a warrant out for me. just ended the call straight away!

I got this dodgy call from some robot claiming to be HMRC. It said there was some tax fraud linked to me and if I didn’t ‘press 1 to speak to an adviser’, I’d be arrested and a warrant would be sent out. Totally fishy. I bet if you press the number it either wants cash or tries to scam your personal info. Proper scam, watch out for this rubbish!
