A lady rang me, saying she was from HMRC and claimed I’d got some income tax wrong and owed them money. She asked if I had a solicitor and mentioned a specific amount I supposedly had to pay. I kept trying to get her to give me proper details, but she was really vague. She kept calling me just by my first name, so I told her to use my title and surname since apparently it was serious business. Right after that, she just hung up on me!

Got one of those dodgy scam calls again. So annoying!

I had a call from someone saying they were from HMRC, but when I asked for their name, they wouldn't say. Then, when I wanted to talk to a manager or a supervisor, they just ended the call straight away. Bit dodgy if you ask me.
