I had an unexpected ring earlier claiming that I was implicated in tax fraud, which is utterly preposterous. The chap from India I talked to seemed rather confused when I tried to clarify my position. Honestly, HMRC never reaches out to individuals like this, so I know it's dodgy! The caller ID was 0300 200 9837.
