Got a call and they just ended it straight away without saying anything. Seems like others have had the same experience, so I’d steer clear too.

Got a call from someone claiming to be HMRC saying there was tax fraud in my name. They told me to hit 1, then the phone just cut off when I did. I don’t have any tax issues, so it’s definitely a scam. I’d say don’t press 1 and just block the number.

I got a call from 03002009692 where a recorded voice said it was HMRC and told me to press 1 or else a warrant for my arrest would be issued right away. I didn’t press anything cause it sounded dodgy, then I tried ringing the number back but it just said it wasn’t recognised. Definitely felt like a scam to me.

Got a call from this number 2277222222 today, they said they were from hmrc and asked me for my national insurance number. Just as I was about to write it down, they suddenly cut the call. Has anyone else had a call like this from them?

Some bloke called saying I had a warrant for not paying tax. When I said I wasn’t buying it, he just ended the call straight away!
