I got a recorded message on my phone claiming to be from HMRC about some tax fraud issue, saying I should press 1 to speak to an advisor. They warned if I didn’t do it right away, I would get arrested soon! Didn’t press anything though, so now I’m just sitting here wondering if they’re actually gonna come for me...

update - i finally got through to an adviser at hmrc by calling their official number, and they told me straight up that the call was from a scammer. they’ve actually recorded that phone number as being linked to scams.
