Got a call from that robo message again, saying I’d be arrested unless I hit 1. Naturally, I blocked it straight away. Makes me wonder if anyone actually ends up pressing 1 and what sort of charges they get landed with after! Do you think phone companies should be held responsible for letting these scam calls go through, or is it just another case of “free speech” gone wrong?

Got a robo call saying it was from HMRE and that there’s a tax fraud case on my name. The message said if I don’t press 1 right away, they’d send out an arrest warrant for me. I just ended the call without hearing more. Honestly, I’m pretty sure HMRE doesn’t work like that haha.

I got this automated call claiming to be from HMRC about some sort of tax fraud and said to press 1 to speak to someone. Sounded dodgy to me, so I just ended the call straight away.

So I got a call saying I’m about to be arrested for tax fraud or something like that. I’m pretty sure it’s just a scam though. It’s worrying because someone who’s more vulnerable might just press the number they ask for and end up getting scammed big time.

Got a call from 03002002269, and all I heard was something about 'HMRC' in a recorded message before I quickly hung up. Didn’t stick around to listen more. Seems like they use loads of different numbers to try you. Pretty sure it’s one of those scams from India, or at least that’s what I’ve heard. Blocked it straight away.
