I recently received a rather alarming phone call from ‭0300 200 8448‬, which turned out to be a fraudulent attempt, claiming that there was an arrest warrant issued against me for tax evasion or some such nonsense. It’s quite the experience to toy with them while feigning panic! They reel off a list of personal details they wish to gather, followed by a request for money transfer. It’s baffling how these scams persist. These con artists deserve to be apprehended - the caller was posing as HMRC, no less!
