I got a call from someone saying they were from HMRC, telling me there was a problem with my tax refund or that I owed some tax money. They left a voicemail asking me to return their call. Just a heads up, don’t fall for this - HMRC wouldn’t get in touch like that or ask for your bank details over the phone. It’s definitely a scam.

Got a call from someone saying they were from HMRC, threatening to take me to court unless I hit 1. Such a dodgy scam!

I picked up the phone and the call was cut straight away.

I usually don’t pick up calls from unknown numbers so I ignored it. Later, I tried calling back using my landline and even put 141 on the front but the call just cut out like the number wasn’t active or something. Might be one of those dodgy scam calls.
