Yeah, it was some kind of tax scam call. The voice on the line was automated, all recorded. Definitely seemed dodgy to me.

I got this recorded message claiming to be from HMRC saying there was a warrant out for my arrest and to press 1 to speak to an HMRC advisor. They warned if I didn’t press 1, the police would be sent round right away to arrest me. I can see how this would freak out anyone, especially if they’re more vulnerable. I didn’t press anything, not even 7, and this was over a day ago. Still no sign of any police knocking on my door!
