total scam, i got a call on 8th april 2019 and i imediately reported it to hmrc fraud dept on the very same day.

Whenever I get those automated calls, I just let it ring out. But today, as soon as the voice said something about the tax office, I blurted out a rude word hoping they’re taping it or whatever. Then I just blocked the number. Honestly, who falls for this nonsense? It's daft!

This sounded dodgy to me. Got a call from a robot saying it was from HMRC, warning about some tax fraud and told me to press a number to find out more. I just hung up straight away, didn’t trust it one bit.

This number rang me up and some bloke with a robotic voice claimed to be from HMRC, saying I was caught up in some fraud and would be nicked soon if I didn’t sort it out with them. I kept trying to ring back for more details, but none of my calls went through. Proper frustrating!

I got a call from an 0300 number that sounded totally robotic and claimed to be from HMRC. Thing is, I just got this mobile and they definitely don’t have my number yet. I’m pretty sure it’s a scam. Probably came from one of those job websites since they’re the only place that had access to my new mobile.
