I've just had a call from 03002006609, an automated voice claiming to be from HMRC. They said there's some fraud investigation against me and threatened that if I don’t talk to them, a warrant would be issued, and I’d be arrested soon. This is the third time I've gotten this same call in the past three months - definitely a scam!

I received a rather alarming call purporting to be from HMRC, claiming they had issued a warrant for my arrest right then and there. They demanded a staggering sum of £2800. When I asked for my National Insurance number, they insisted it was a secret. The caller had an accent that seemed to be Indian, but their English was rather lacking. I managed to keep them on the line for about five minutes before informing them to reach out to my solicitors. They attempted to intimidate me with threats of arrest again before abruptly ending the call. Quite amusing, really!

I received a call from someone claiming to be from HMRC, insisting that I would face an arrest warrant if I didn’t press 1 immediately. Quite alarming, to say the least!

Without a doubt, this is a scam. In just one week, I've received two calls from 0300 numbers trying the same trick. I've gone ahead and blocked them both now. These sorts of calls should be reported because there are probably folks out there who might fall for it. It's such a nasty thing to do, I really hope the police manage to find the people behind it quickly.

I've been getting loads of calls from numbers that are almost the same, just the final digits differ. These so-called callers claim to be from HMRC, but trust me, they’re not legit. The real HMRC would never ring you up like this. Best thing to do is just hang up straight away. Usually, they try to scare you into paying some fake fine or else they say you’ll be arrested. It’s crazy how some folks might panic and fall for it!

I got a call like this too, some bloke threatening arrest if I pressed 1 about tax dodging. Could hear loads of shouting and racket in the background, just like those other dodgy calls about car crashes trying to get your details. It's definitely one of those dodgy scams from the absolute scumbags out there.

Got a call saying I was being looked into for tax evasion and fraud, and was told to press 1 to talk to an agent. They already said my name, so I hit 1. Then, someone answered asking if it was me (using my name). I said yes and asked who they were, but they just hung up straight away. Tried calling back but it was just silence. Really stressed about it now.

So I got this call that had music and some recorded voice, sounded like it was from Asia in the end. When I asked how they could prove it was actually HMRC, the woman just threatened to send the police round. Definitely a scam, watch out for these!
