Today, I missed a call and when I rang back, I was told to press 1. Someone answered claiming to be from HMRC, saying I hadn’t paid all my tax for 2016-2017. I asked them to send me a letter in the post if I owed anything, but they said they don’t do that anymore because people often change addresses to avoid payment. Then, they said they’d be sending an officer to arrest me *today*. Honestly, it sounds like a complete :SCAM to me.
