Got a call at 3:05pm today but the person just hung up straight away, so I called back and nobody picked up. Yesterday, I got a similar automated call from 0300 200 2426, with a male voice telling me I’d been involved in fraud and there was a warrant for arrest, pressing 1 urgently. I rang HMRC to check and they said it’s definitely a scam. Just thought I’d share this so people are warned.

Looks like I was the first to look this number up. It was someone claiming to be from HMRC saying I was accused of fraud and that a warrant had been issued for my arrest. Pretty much the same story others have mentioned, just with a different phone number. Honestly, there should be a way to stop these con artists from messing about like this.
