Got a ring from this number too. Some robotic voice going on about HMRC and threatening arrest if i dont pay up. Its totally fake and could scare the daylights out of someone. They really ought to be tracked down and stopped (absolute pests) - caller said: HMRC

Got a call today from someone saying they were from HMRC. Told me I owed them money and that I'd be arrested right away if I didn’t pay up. It’s so upsetting to think that elderly or vulnerable folks might fall for this scam. The number they called from was 03002006177.

I got called with the exact same message and it really pissed me off. No clue where they found my number from, but honestly, it’d be great if someone could nab them and make them pay for it.
