Just got a call today, 31/10/19, from the number 0300 200 6168 saying they were from HM Revenue and mentioned some fraud case on my tax. They told me to press 1 to talk to an agent or else I’d get arrested right away. Definitely just hung up straight away.

That was honestly quite frightening.

Got a call from a recorded voice saying it was HMRC fraud and telling me to tap some numbers on the phone. Can't help thinking if you actually did press those buttons, it might end up costing you. Pretty certain this isn't the way the HMRC fraud department operates!!
