I received a call earlier today regarding a potential tax fraud issue.

Got a call claiming to be from HM Revenue, warning me of some fraudulent activity and instructing me to hit 1 for further information. Naturally, I pressed 1, and ended up chatting with a chap who had an Asian accent. This is the second time they’ve rung me, and both times they've just dropped the call on me. I'm convinced it’s a scam. When I tried to return the call, I was connected to the reception for the Welsh Parliament Assembly - how bizarre is that? Not sure how they’ve altered their caller ID to pull off this trick.
