Got a call from a recorded voice saying if I don’t press 1, I’ll get arrested and they said they were from HMRC. Proper dodgy scam, sounded really aggressive too.

Same here, I told this Nigerian scammer to come arrest me face to face. Then suddenly this weird voice started talking over the line. I contacted TalkTalk and even with free calls, I still got hit with a £2.45 premium charge. These con artists just keep getting away with it. Where’s the old bill or the government when you really need them? Nowhere to be seen unless you’re loaded and influential. Honestly, Great Britain feels like it’s done for. - caller: lord of the rings

Got a call from someone saying they were HMRC. They warned me that if I didn’t hit 1 on my phone, I would be arrested soon. Seemed pretty scary!
