They said if I didn’t transfer the money immediately to an account under the name HMR, number 12769620, sort code 236972, I would be arrested. I didnt pick up but I looked into the sort code and account number mentioned in another comment, turns out its an account at Prepay Technologies Ltd., Station Square, 1 Gloucester Street, Swindon, SN1 1GW. I recently received an unpleasant robocall from this number purporting to be from HMRC. If anyone has any insight into who might be responsible, I’d be very keen to find out.
