Got a call from 03002003632 but they just hung up as soon as I picked up. Then 03002003637 rang a bit later and dropped some robotic voicemail. Really glad I googled the number first and stumbled on this site, can’t wait to ring them back and let them know I’m onto their number!

Just received yet another dodgy call purporting to be from HMRC, claiming I was involved in tax fraud and threatening imminent arrest! This is now the second time today that I’ve been targeted, albeit from a different 0300 number. I’ve gone ahead and reported these numbers to [email protected]. Stay vigilant, folks!

I got a call saying there was some tax fraud on my name and if I didn’t press 1 they'd send a warrant and I'd be arrested. I tried phoning the number back from my landline, but it was just dead. Everyone knows these scams are fake but imagine if an elderly or vulnerable person answers and believes it? It's awful.

I received a call where the person on the other end was insisting I would be arrested. It was incredibly worrying and quite unsettling. This number ought to be looked into and dealt with accordingly.

Got a call from someone claiming to be from HMRC about some income tax fraud and said they’re gonna arrest me. That’s laughable because my earnings are way under the tax limit, and HMRC actually sends me refunds regularly. They wanted me to press 1 to fix the issue. Yeah right, not happening. Told them to go ahead and arrest me then.

My daughter got a call where her name showed up on the screen, but when I picked up it was just a recorded message saying she was being looked into for tax fraud and to press 1 or the cops would get a warrant. I ended the call right away and then rang the tax people myself. They told me it was a scam and these scammers had somehow faked one of the official HMRC 0330 numbers.

Got a call from hmre, but it was clearly a scam - some robotic voice. There’s no way HMRC would contact anyone like that. If you’d hit “1” like they told you, i reckon you’d end up on a costly premium number and stuck listening to a long scam recording instead.

On the morning of 29th January 2019, around 9am, this number gave me an automated call saying I needed to press 1 to talk about some HMRC fraud linked to my phone. I did press 1 but nothing happened after that, just silence. The number was 0300 200 3632. I’d had a similar call before, but from a different number, claiming my 11-year-old son was involved in some sort of fraud. That was nonsense, and as soon as I told the man with a strong Indian accent that the person he mentioned was an eleven-year-old child, he just hung up. Definitely a scam. - caller: 0300 200 3632

Hey, I had a call from this exact number claiming there was some fraud issue with HMRC. Don’t buy into their nonsense. Just log into your official HMRC government account and verify yourself - there’s nothing wrong. These scammers somehow get hold of our phone details, maybe because we’re self-employed, and try to steal your private info. The caller was +44 300 200 3632. Stay safe!

This number called me too. It was one of those recorded messages saying HMRC are looking into fraud linked to me and that I should press 1 to talk to an agent about it. I received a call at 9 in the morning claiming there’s a warrant for my arrest due to tax fraud. I can imagine there are plenty who might panic upon hearing such alarming news, but thankfully, I’m not that easily rattled. Honestly, I can't fathom what compels people to make these sorts of threats. It's quite mind-boggling!
