03002003612 Summary (Read all comments)

Phone number ☎️ 03002003612 👆 is reported as a persistent scam where callers impersonate HMRC, claiming the recipient is under investigation for tax fraud and threatening arrest. The callers use automated messages urging people to press a number, followed by fake representatives pressuring for personal details. The overwhelming consensus is to ignore or block these calls, recognising them as fraudulent attempts to cause worry and extract information.

Got a call from these scammers pretending to be from HMRC, trying to frighten me with talk of arrest. They’re total scumbags. If you see this number pop up, just block it and don’t answer. Never call them back or spill any personal info!

I got calls from 0300 2003612 and 0300 2003634 telling me I was being investigated and might get arrested! They even left a message. I quickly logged into my account to see if there was anything from HMRC, but you normally get an email or a secure message on your account if they want to reach you. Totally a scam. Honestly, people doing stuff like this should be locked up, it’s really frightening especially for those who aren’t familiar with how these things work.

Today, 23/01/19 at about 10.34am, I got a call from 0300 200 3612. It started with an automated voice saying it was HMRC and that I needed to press '1'. When I did, a man came on the line claiming I'm involved in tax fraud and am about to be prosecuted and jailed! He then asked me to verify my personal information. I told him that since he called me, he should already have all my details, so I refused. He got irate, started hurling insults, and I just ended the call. Clearly a scam! Never share your personal info with unknown callers.

I got a call claiming I was under investigation for tax fraud, so I just hung up straightaway. From what I’ve seen, loads of folks have got similar calls today, so it’s probably a big scam. The weird thing is, the HMRC website shows this number as one of their official contact lines. Just trust your instincts, everyone, and be careful.

Around half past twelve, I got a call from this number, some bloke asking if I had a lawyer and saying there was a warrant out for me. He gave me a name, a badge number, and a case number before just hanging up. Then, about six minutes later, I noticed a missed call from 0300 200 3200. I called back, and a woman answered saying it was HMRC and asked why I’d ring them. I told her they’d called me first, and she said someone would get back to me, but no one ever did. Honestly, I’m pretty confused about what’s happening, especially since I’ve been under loads of stress lately.

I picked up the phone and the person on the other end started saying I’m being sued for fraud. When I called them out for being a scam, they threatened that the police were already coming to arrest me. It was pretty scary but I knew it was all rubbish.
