Like a few others mentioned, this number tries to scare you by saying HMRC is about to start a tax fraud investigation on you. Don’t pay any attention to these muppets! It really winds me up how they call like this. HMRC would never handle things like that over the phone. Best just to block the number straight away and definitely don’t press any buttons, or you might end up with crazy phone bills or worse, your personal info nicked.
