Got a call from this number claiming I had a scam case with HMRC and telling me to hit 1 straight away or I'd be arrested. I looked it up on the official HMRC site and ended up reporting it.

Got a bit bored and ended up hitting 1 when they asked. She came up with some made-up reference codes, fair enough, but when I asked which court the warrant was from, she just cut me off quite abruptly. Bit cheeky if you ask me.

Got a voicemail saying I owe money to HMRC and if I don’t press 1, they’ll send out an arrest warrant. Didn’t press anything, just ended the call straight away so I don’t really have any other details.

I was feeling really awful after getting this call. They kept repeating the same stuff, asking me for my name and then went on to say that my passport, driving licence and bank account had been seized. They even said the police were heading over to arrest me. Proper upsetting!

Got a robo call claiming to be from HMRC telling me to press 1 to talk to an advisor or face arrest. Total scam artists, honestly. I'd say it's best to just block that number straight away.
