Just a heads up about calls from 03002003529 - it's basically a scam trying to freak you out into coughing up money to EEEs. If some fake HMRC person rings telling you to press 1 or you'll be arrested right away for dodging tax, just end the call. Honestly, the scammers behind this should be the ones locked up.

On the 28th of February, 2019, I received a rather alarming recorded message from this number! It seems they’re claiming there's a warrant for my arrest tied to some supposed tax fraud. Quite unbelievable, really!

Got a call from someone pretending to be HMRC, telling me I owe more than £3000 and that I had to pay immediately or else there’s a warrant for my arrest. Pretty terrifying stuff. These nasty scammers are out there trying to rip people off of huge amounts, they seriously need to be put an end to.

Got a call saying it was a warrant from HMRC, and they told me to press a number to speak to a case officer. Totally dodgy, obviously a scam. Honestly, I’m just waiting now to see if they really come after me. This kind of rubbish has got to end, it’s awful how some people just don’t care. Fingers crossed karma really is a thing and they get what they deserve.

Got a robo call about a fraud case from Revenue and Customs, sounded just like the number 0300 200 3525. HMRC never ring you up, they only send letters. So I just blocked it straight away.

Got a call saying I owe taxes and if I didn't hit 1 they'd send a warrant after me. Totally a scam, since I’m on PAYE and as far as I know, the tax folks don’t do these robo calls. Don’t fall for it, just block and report the number - they said they were from the Tax Office but it's just rubbish.
