Got a message about being arrested for fraud, which freaked me out. Tried calling HMRC straight away but no answer. Decided to check who was calling and saw loads of people saying the same thing. Best just to ignore and block the number.

I got a call from some dodgy number 22.219 the other day, claiming to be HMRC. Definitely a scam, tried to scare me into handing over money. Glad I didn’t fall for it! Watch out for these fraudsters pretending to be from the tax office.

Got a call like this a bit ago and just hung up without hitting 1. There was a bloke right beside me who quickly said it was a scam. Guess I’ll update if I end up in any trouble!

The same number rang me earlier, but I missed it. Later, I heard the voicemail - some creepy message about HMRC and warrants or something like that. Proper scary stuff.

I received a call from an unrecognised number and, as is my routine, I ignored it. They left a rather alarming voicemail, stating that I needed to press 1 to avoid a warrant being issued for my arrest. Quite frankly, that's a definite case for blocking and deleting that number. Ridiculous!

Got a call from this number and it started off with an automated voice asking me to press 1. Then some guy claimed to be from HMRC, rattling off a bunch of IDs and case numbers. He said I owed £1683 and if I went to court it’d shoot up to £79,000. It all sounded fishy so I asked some questions about PAYE and tax stuff, which annoyed him badly. He told me to f*** off and hung up. I called HMRC right away and they confirmed it was a scam. Definitely don’t pick up if it rings you - it looked convincing but it’s a total con.

I received an automated message claiming to be from HMRC, stating there was some fraudulent activity linked to my name. They insisted that I press one immediately or face arrest. It’s appalling how these calls target those who may easily be deceived. Such scams are utterly heartless and ought to be terminated without delay.

Got a call from someone saying they were with HMRC saying if I didn’t press 1, I’d get arrested. I hit 1 just to see what would happen, and this woman answered asking what she could do. I told her she had the wrong person and kept asking for Mr Williams, who I’m not. Tried to mess around and waste her time but she just hung up on me. Total scam, best to just hang up and forget about it.
