I got a call from this number on VIBER, but I just ignored it since I hardly ever use that app, even though it's on my phone. Really happy I looked it up here first!

So, this number 0300 200 3483 called me claiming I was gonna be arrested for tax fraud. They tried to freak me out, even gave some sort of CASE ID and WARRANT ID to sound legit. Honestly, don’t give them any details, it’s a scam for sure.

Got a call about some unpaid taxes saying I'd get arrested if I didn't pay up! Total scam, just blocked the number straight away!

Got a message from a recorded voice saying it was HMRC, telling me to press 1 to talk to an officer about a tax fraud case against me. I pressed 1 and the person on the line asked me to confirm my name. I didn’t want to give it, since if it was really HMRC, surely they’d already know who I am. After I refused, they threatened to pass my name to someone with a warrant to arrest me. Felt really suspicious - not how HMRC normally handles things at all. Definitely a scam. Never share any personal details on calls like that!
