Just like others have mentioned, I also recieved a call threatening me with arrest. I’m wondering if everyone getting these calls has visited the HMRC site recently? If that’s the case, then maybe theres some sort of security problem with the HMRC website that needs reporting. It’s quite worrying if these scammers are getting info from there.

The call went straight to answerphone, so I didn't bother calling back. It wasn’t a number I recognised, so I just left it. Seems like no one I needed to talk to anyway.

Got a call earlier from someone saying they were from HMRC, saying I was under investigation for not paying my taxes. They told me to go to Asda or a pay point and pay up, or the police would show up to arrest me. Felt like a total scam to me.

Got a call that said it was HMRC. Seemed a bit dodgy, so I double checked their number after. Turns out it was just a scam trying to spook me. Always best to be careful with these ones!

Just got a phone call from someone saying they were from HMRC, telling me I'd been involved in some sort of fraud. They told me to press 1 or I'd end up getting arrested. The number they used was 03002003186. Felt pretty dodgy to me.

Today I received an automated message saying it was from the Sommerfield police, warning me that if I didn’t press 1 to speak with them, a warrant would be issued for my arrest and I’d soon be barred from some things. When I tried ringing the number back, it just said the number isn’t in service right now. Feels like some kind of scam or threat, and I’m not sure what steps to take. Should I report this to the police? The call came through on 01.05.19 from 03002003286.
