I found it rather alarming when I was threatened with arrest.

Got a call from this number probably a tax scam. The voice said don’t hang up and to press 1 for details. I did and a woman came on the line, saying she was checking my file. Suddenly, the call just dropped. Then I blocked the number straight away.

I got a robo call saying I’d get arrested if I didn’t hang around and hit 1. Just for laughs, I pressed 1 and it started playing classical tunes. I reckon it’s probably a trick to funnel you onto some expensive premium line and make a profit. Pretty dodgy if you ask me.

Got a call the other day from 0300 200 3184, said they were from HMRC and mentioned some fraud case in my name. They wanted me to press 1 but I just hung up straight away. Definitely a scam in my opinion. I’d suggest blocking that number ASAP.
