I just ignored the calls and after seeing what others said, it’s clear I shouldn’t even bother. The numbers I got calls from in the past few days were 0300200315, 203002003142 and 03002003126.

Got a call from HMRC too and it didn’t sound right, so I just ended it straight away. The number on my caller ID was a bit off, 03002003145 or something like that. Figured it was a scam!

While my kid was mucking about with my phone, he picked up a call from this number. Not long after, Vodafone sent me a text claiming my account info had been updated and a new phone was ordered using the email nathan99891@gmaill###). Totally not me!

This number seems to be linked to a scam HMRC text I've gotten too. It's actually from the Environment Agency originally, but looks like it’s been taken over. They’ve had to block the number because loads of people, including me, were calling to check if the scam texts were real.

Fraudulent! They pretend to represent HMRC. Best to ignore their calls.

Got a call from some bloke with a recorded message, smelled like one of those hmre scams. Just hung up and blocked the number.

I had an automated call claiming to be from HM Revenue and Customs, insisting I press 1 or face the issuance of a warrant. Given that I'm retired and have no tax liabilities, I'm quite certain this is just a ruse. It's worth noting that HMRC typically communicates via letter rather than phone calls, so do watch out for such scams!

Looks like a total scam to me!

Got a call saying there’s an HMRC investigation for fraud against me, and if I don't press 1 to talk to their "advisor" right away, they'll send a warrant to have me arrested. Then, the line just cuts off. It’s ridiculous! These scammers ring me nonstop, and even when I block one number, they just come back using a new one. I’m so annoyed with these cheeky pest calls!

Best thing is just to ignore calls from numbers you don’t recognise. If it’s important, they’ll leave a message or get in touch some other way. Plus, you can always look up any missed calls here afterwards if you’re curious.

This number just phoned me and I got a robot voice claiming it was HMRC. It talked about some tax fraud thing and said I needed to press 1 to talk to someone or else I'd get arrested at home. I didn’t even bother replying and hung up straight away because it sounded dodgy. Has anyone else had a call like this?

Got a call from someone claiming to be HMRC, sounded like an Indian call centre. I asked the bloke if his mum was still around and whether she’d be proud of what he’s doing. He just ended the call straight away. Pretty sure it was a scam.

Got a phone call from this number, they were banging on about some tax fraud and threatening I'd get nicked if I didn’t hit 1. Still waiting for the cops to turn up...

Got a call from someone saying they're HMRC, told me I owe taxes and that if I don’t hit '1' I’ll get arrested straight away. Guess I’m just waiting now for my free stay at HMP... Caller said it was HMRC.

I just got one of those calls too, with the same story. Totally a scam. Apparently, it's a bunch of blokes from Delhi, India, working out of some run-down office. They've been pulling this trick on people in the UK for years now. Best thing is to never engage with these idiots. Just end the call and block their number straight away.

This number rang me earlier and an automated voice claimed it was from HMRC. They said I’d been involved in tax fraud and needed to press 1 to talk to someone, or else I would be arrested at home. It sounded dodgy, so I just hung up straight away. Has anyone else had a call like this from 03002003126?

I got this call today too. I pressed 1 like they said, then some woman told me I supposedly owe over £1,000 from the last 4 years. She claimed they sent a letter but I wasn’t home to sign for it. Then she asked if I wanted to go to court to challenge it. I told her to send me proper written proof through the post first because I don’t owe anything and wondered why it hadn’t come up before now. She just hung up on me. Total rip off, and it made me so anxious. Don’t fall for it. The number was +443002003126.
