Got a call saying there’s a fraud case against me from HMRC, told to press 1 or else they’d send a warrant and I’d be arrested on the spot. It’s definitely a scam so I’d say just hang up immediately and don’t push any buttons. The caller was one of those robocalls.

Got a call saying there’s a warrant out for me because of some unpaid tax, but I never owed anything. Felt really stressful to get that threat out of the blue.

Just got a call saying I'm about to be arrested for tax evasion or something like that. Totally baffled, never heard anything about it before. Seems dodgy to me.

Got a call the other day from someone claiming I owe nearly £2000 in back taxes, said I was guilty of tax evasion. Sounded so real, like they were from HMRC. Little did I know it was all a threatening scam!
