Got a call from someone saying they were HMRC, accusing me of tax fraud and threatening I'd get arrested if I didn't answer. When I finally picked up, this bloke with an American accent asked for my full name but then said the message wasn’t actually meant for me. Quite weird and dodgy if you ask me.

They claimed it was HMRC doing a fraud check, but as far as I know, HMRC only send letters or come round in person, they don’t make phone calls. Pretty sure it’s a scam!
