Got a call from someone pretending to be from HMRC, saying I was involved in some fraud. They told me to hit 1 on my phone and threatened legal action if I didn’t respond. Definitely a scam, don’t get caught up in it!

Got a call from some scammers claiming I owed cash to HM Revenue for taxes. I’m retired and live off the state pension, so I knew straight away it was a load of rubbish. I hung up, blocked the number, and then reported it using the phishing form on the HMRC website. Really annoying how they try to scare people like that!

Got a call from this number earlier, someone pretending to be from HMRC saying there's a fraud case against me. They told me to press 1 for more details and warned that if I didn’t, I’d be arrested! Honestly, these calls are really scary and could easily panic folks who aren’t as clued up. Just a heads up, if you get a call like this, block it straight away. HMRC would never use phone threats about arrest like this!

These scammers keep changing the last four digits of the number, somewhere between 0000 and 9999, so it just goes on endlessly. It's all the same spoofed scam number starting with 0300200 - . Best to just block 1572 and hang up straight away.

I got a robotic voice saying I was involved in some tax fraud thing, so I just ended the call and blocked the number straight away. Probably would've been them trying to get my bank info if I’d stayed on. Definitely best to block those calls quick.

Called by some automated voice rambling on about taxes. I just ended the call and blocked the number straight away.

A recorded voice mentioned something about tax fraud, so I just ended the call straight away. It felt a lot like another call I got before from a number ending in 3056. Definitely looks like a scam to me.

Definetly a scam, just a heads up!
