Got a call from 0300 200 2285, some bloke said HMRC are on my tail for dodging tax and that they’re gonna arrest me soon. Press 1 or else. Honestly, who falls for that rubbish? Sounds like a proper scam if you ask me. Caller ID was unknown too.

Got a call saying "HMRC is looking into your taxes for fraud, you’ll be arrested soon, press 1 now." Definitely sounds like a scam to me. The number showed up as 0300 200 2285, but the caller ID was blank. Such dodgy nonsense. Never entertain calls like these.

Just got a call from 0300 200 2285 saying I've been caught by HMRC for messing with my taxes and that I’m about to get nicked, and to press 1 immediately. Seriously? Who actually buys into this nonsense? Sounds like a classic scam if you ask me.
