“Claiming that HMRC is on your case for tax fraud and that arrest is imminent unless you press 1? Honestly, who buys into this nonsense? Seems like a classic scam to me! - Caller: 0300 200 2285 - Caller ID: Unknown”

"I’ve just received a rather dodgy call claiming that HMRC are looking into me for tax fraud! They warned I’d be arrested shortly and urged me to press 1. Honestly, it all smells like a scam to me. The number they called from was 0300 200 2285, but they wouldn't disclose who they were. Compared to all the other rubbish I’ve had lately, this takes the biscuit!"
