They threatened me with arrest for tax evasion, but luckily I recognised it as one of those scams I’d heard about before.

Got a recorded call saying there’s a fraud alert on my tax stuff. They said if I didn't hit 1 to talk to someone, they’d put a warrant out for my arrest right away! Seriously?! Nah, I’m good. Blocked the number straight away!

This number has rung me up a couple of times today, one was right at 4 in the morning and then again at 8 in the evening. Honestly, the timing is all over the place and it’s pretty annoying.

Just like someone else mentioned, I got a recorded call about some tax fraud stuff. Didn’t stick around for that, hung up straight away and then looked up the number. Looks like plenty of other folks got the same call too.

Got a voicemail from someone claiming to be HMRC saying there’s a tax fraud issue and I had to press 1 to sort it out. I just hung up straight away. Pretty certain if there was a real problem, HMRC would send me a letter.

This number’s definitely dodgy, they’re ringing up pretending to be from HMRC, saying you’ve done some dodgy tax stuff. Its a proper scam so someone should get it reported and shut down quick.

Got a call from someone claiming to be HMRC about some tax dodging issue. Total random spam call, no idea who it was.

Got a call at work from a number I had no clue about, so I just let it ring out. Later on, I looked up the number online and saw loads of people complaining it was spam. These days it’s either some dodgy PPI claim or a nonsense about an accident I wasn’t involved in, or now it's someone pretending to be from HMRC. Definitely putting that number on my block list now.
