I picked up when the call came through, but all I got was silence and then it just cut off after a couple seconds. Honestly, if someone contacts you pretending to be from a company or organisation, just tell them to write to you by post and that you won’t be discussing anything over the phone.

Haha, they wanted my date of birth and the final four digits of my NI number. When I said no, they asked me why. I just told them I didn’t trust that they were actually from HMRC. That’s when they hung up on me! 😂
