Got a call from some Indian call centre claiming to be from a British company. They were pretending to be BT, HMRC, or even British Gas, but it’s all a trick. Their main aim is to sneak your card info out of you, so don’t fall for it!

Got a call from someone claiming I hadn’t paid my taxes. Turns out it was a total scam - they weren’t from HMRC at all, just trying to trick me into handing over money. Watch out, don’t fall for this rubbish!

someone called me claiming to be working for the queen and now they're hassling me about some tax I supposedly haven't paid! it’s a classic trick with these indian scammers trying to frighten you into thinking the government’s after you and that police will show up within an hour if you don’t cough up the money on the spot by phone. don’t fall for it, it’s definitely a scam.
