Somebody rang pretending to be from HMRC, said there was some fraud on my account. I didn’t pick up and just blocked the number straight away.

I received a call from this number, and it was some sort of recorded message claiming to be from HMRC, discussing taxes and instructing me to hit ‘1’. Just before it concluded, I heard something alarming about being arrested if I didn’t press the button! The number was 03002001771. Quite suspicious, I'd say!

Got this recorded call supposedly from HMRC saying there’s some fraud case against me. They warned that if I didn’t talk to their operator, I’d be arrested. Classic signs of a scam, nothing genuine about it.
