On 10th December 2019 at 11:45 am, I received a rather unsettling call from a male voice with a pre-recorded message claiming that I was implicated in tax fraud. The message urged me to press '1' to speak with HMRC, threatening that failure to do so would result in an arrest warrant being issued posthaste. Naturally, I hung up and would strongly recommend that others do likewise. Be wary of this number: 03002001739.
