I got a call late last night from some dodgy number claiming to be "hmrc" saying there was a tax fraud thing linked to me. The message was awful quality, I couldn’t really hear much properly. I just hung up quick and looked up the number afterwards. Turns out it’s a scam - hmrc always sends letters for stuff like that since it’s so serious. Don’t fall for it, they won’t ring you about it like that!

Got a call from an automated bloke telling me to press 1 to stop tax fraud. They wanted my details, like my name and phone number, saying my identity had been used for tax fraud and if I didn’t share my info, I might get into trouble. I just ended the call and blocked the number. Should’ve never picked up in the first place!

Twice this week I got calls from them, accusing me of tax fraud! I ended up ringing the police and even reported their number on the HMRC website. Naturally, I blocked them after that.

I got a call from 0300 200 1714 or a number quite alike, with a bloke's voice that was recorded. He told me I’d done tax fraud and to press 1 or I’d be arrested soon. When I didn’t press anything, the call just cut off. Totally scammy if you ask me.

Got a call from some robotic voice claiming I did some tax fraud and told me to press 1 if I wanted to sort it out. Definitely sounded dodgy.
