I received a rather dubious call saying there was some sort of fraud linked to my HMRC tax account... they said to press one for more details, but I decided to just hang up and block the number instead. It was all automated nonsense.

The cost of calls is no more than calls to geographic numbers (01 or 02). Call charges are influenced by the time of the day, and most providers offer call packages that permit calls free of charge at specific times of the day. The cost of calls from mobiles differ based on the chosen calling plan. Generally, these calls are incorporated in free call packages.
