I’ve just had a dodgy call claiming to be from HMRC, saying I need to press 1 to evade an arrest order linked to some phoney tax fraud investigation against me. Honestly, it’s so obviously a scam! The tax office doesn’t operate like that. If you receive something similar, just hang up straight away. Complete nonsense!

It appears that I received a dodgy call from someone claiming to be HMRC, using frightful language to pressure me into pressing 1 on my phone. I've reported the matter to Action Fraud. The number that called me was 03002001668.
