Got a call saying it was from the tax office, telling me to press 1 or I'd get an arrest warrant for supposedly being involved in tax fraud. Totally fake - HMRC never contacts people like that over the phone. Just ended the call straight away. It’s definitely a con!

The number 03002001668 called me pretending to be from HMRC and used quite aggressive language, trying to scare me into hitting 1 on my phone. I ended up reporting the whole thing to Action Fraud in the UK. Beware of this scam!
