Got a really pushy woman on the phone saying she was from the tax office. She was quite threatening, saying the police would come round if I ended the call without coughing up money. Even after I told her I knew she was scamming, she kept on with the threats. I’ve reported it to HMRC. If you watch BBC Wales, this sort of phone scam was shown recently on X-ray too.

Got a call claiming to be from HMRC about some supposed fraud on my account. I mentioned to a bloke called Tom Norris UKRM 185 that I'm recording the chat just in case I need to report it, and said "go ahead, what do you need?" He got all annoyed and said, "If you don't think I'm from HMRC, why would I bother with you, idiot!" Honestly, might have to pick up these calls more regularly - they’re quite entertaining!

Got a call from some bloke with an Indian accent who said his name was Robben Henly. He claimed HMRC were after me and that there’s an arrest warrant because of some case they’ve opened. I told him I’d prefer to sort it out in court and wanted to see the official documents first. Then he just hung up, threatening to send the police round. Absolute con artist!

Just found out this is a new kind of scam. When I tried calling the number back, it actually redirected me to an automated voicemail from HMRC warning that the number is used for fraud. I’ve already reported it to HMRC, so watch out!
