Pretty sure these are fraudsters! They rang me but I couldn't answer and didn’t leave any message. Watch out everyone. If they claim to be some official UK agency or company, they’re definitely not legit. And don’t ever hand over your personal info or, worse, your card details, even if they say they’re from HMRC or similar. Just steer clear!

i just got this automated call claiming there was a tax fraud case opened against me and i had to press a button to talk to some agent handling it. they said if i didn’t do it, i’d be arrested real soon! really scary stuff! I didnt press anything though. who knows what trouble they wanted to drag me into!

Don't bother answering, just block the number straight away. It's another one of those HMRC scam calls. I've already blocked three different numbers like this before.

I got a call from someone pretending to be HMRC, saying there’s a tax fraud warrant out for me. They warned me that if I don’t press one, they’ll arrest me soon. Felt really sketchy to me.

I got a voicemail from someone pretending to be hmrc, saying there was some sort of tax fraud flagged under my account. The message told me to press 1 to talk to someone about it and warned that if I didn’t, a warrant would be taken out against me. Seemed pretty dodgy to me.
