i picked up thinking it was another hmrc scam since ive had loads before. figured id play along and press 1 to see where it went. ended up speaking to this really unfriendly and pushy asian woman who just cut me off when i asked her what the call was about. classic hmrc scam stuff, honestly dont know why i even bothered trying to get to the bottom of it!

Today I got a call from this number, came through as automated claiming to be HMRC. They were saying there was some sort of warrant against me and if I didn’t get through to someone on their system, I’d get arrested. Totally rubbish, can't believe people fall for this stuff.

Got a creepy voicemail with a robotic voice saying something about me being arrested soon or something like that. Quite unsettling, to be honest.
