I ignored the call but later got a voicemail from a robotic voice claiming to be HMRC. It said I owed taxes and if I didn’t press 1 to talk to them, I’d be arrested soon. Watch out, this is totally a scam!

I got a call claiming there's fraud linked to my name and that a warrant has been issued for my arrest. They wanted me to give my name and postcode, but I told them I wouldn’t share any details until they proved it wasn’t a scam. Then they said they’d send the police round to arrest me and abruptly ended the call.

Right after I said "hmre" or something like that, they just cut me off and I ended up blocking the caller straight away.

Got a phone call that said they were from HMRC, sounded real automatic but felt a bit off. Definitely seemed like one of those robocalls trying to trick you. Wouldn't trust it.
