Got a call from this number on my phone, it was an automated message claiming I had some fraud issue with HMRC. It told me to press "1" to talk to an agent or apparently I'd be arrested soon. I just ended the call straight away. Definitely a scam - HMRC wouldn’t ever get in touch like that, honestly.

Got a robo-call telling me I’m involved in some tax scam. Didn’t even bother, just hung up and blocked the number straight away.

My wife got a call from someone saying she owed taxes and if she didn't pay, the police would get involved. She wasn’t convinced and just ended the call.
